James The Bookend

After many request, the award winning doorstop design has finally been adapted into a bookend.

The stainless steel foot that is fixed to his foot, ensures that any number of books can be leant against James outstretched arm without him slipping over.

He can be used individually or as a pair.

James The Bookend £15 by Black+Blum

Made from steel and rubber

Available from Hidden Art Shop

Black+Blum’s philosophy is to show that designed products can be made affordable without compromising their quality. The aim is to create innovative products that will charm and entertain. Their design input does not stop with the product itself. The packaging has also become part of the black+blum trademark. It either has a function beyond packaging or it is ultra minimal. The packaging of their wine rack for example turns into a bottle storage after its primary use. Most of their packing is made from undyed recycled cardboard.
