Eden Rock St Barths'

Again I found this gem in the Evening Standard newspaper.

St Barthelemy is widely regarded as the St Tropez of the Caribbean, with fantastic French food, great beaches and oodles of glamour.

Eden Rock evolved from an imaginatively sited house built fifty years ago by Remy DeHaenen, a celebrated local adventurer

In 1995, the property was bought by an English couple, David & Jane Matthews, who intended, initially, to use it as a holiday home. However, a small bar was operating ... which was kept running ... one thing followed another ... and five years later Eden Rock Hotel was invited to join the prestigeous Relais & Chateaux group of distinguished hotels.
