Steinway, best known for their magnificent piano’s are about to launch their own take on the humble loudspeaker.
The item they have created are 250kg monstrosities, produced in collaboration with Danish speaker manufacturer Lyngdorf and paired with a similarly shiny CD unit, all for the modest price of £75,000.
Only 100 Model D systems will be made this year, and if you buy one, Steinway Lyngdorf will send an audio engineer to your home to take readings and tailor its set-up precisely to suit your space
